This Disneyland Hotel Announcement Is a Total GAME CHANGER

Big things are happening at the Disneyland Resort, and they’ll likely affect your next visit.

Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is Disneyland’s swankiest hotel, packed with scenic views, a dedicated Disney California Adventure entrance, fantastic amenities, and some pretty great eats. One of its premium dining experiences over the years has been Napa Rose, which is currently getting a pretty big upgrade.

Napa Rose offers a signature dining experience (formal dress REQUIRED) at the hotel, featuring savory California-inspired cuisine from Chef Andrew Sutton and exquisite wines selected by sommelier Patrick Kirchen. However, guests can’t experience this phenomenal restaurant right now as it’s closed for a lengthy refurbishment that will take the dining experience to the next level.

Initially expected to reopen in Fall 2025, the reopening date was pushed back into early 2026, which is rather upsetting because the changes look incredible and we literally can’t wait to experience them!

Recently, Disney announced that the restaurant will feature “an elevated dining experience, blending timeless Craftsman design with a fresh take on modern Californian sophistication and warmth, and immersing guests in a way only Disney can do.” The new theming with honor Craftsman designs “with an eye toward modern Californian luxury and approachability.”

According to Disney, the outdoor patio will feature two fireplaces, lush greenery, and soft lighting that exude upscale California winery vibes. More importantly, the reopening will come with a brand-new menu.

We are so incredibly excited to visit the restaurant once it reopens with these upgrades! Right now, the restaurant is totally unavailable, and the Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures character dining experience — usually held at Napa Rose — is being hosted at the Trillium Room in the hotel.
