CONFIRMED: ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ Is Coming To Streaming SOON

It’s been a great year to be a Marvel fan. Earlier this year, we got to meet an all-new Avengers team with Thunderbolts*. We’ve got Marvel Zombies releasing on Disney+ soon.

This summer also saw the release of the retro-futuristic The Fantastic Four: First Steps in theaters, but you’ll soon be able to re-live that movie on streaming because it drops as a digital release on September 23rd.

That’s right, The Fantastic Four: First Steps will be available for purchase on digital platforms like Prime Video, Apple TV, and more on September 23rd, so you’ll be able to grab the movie for yourself to watch again (or watch for the first time if you haven’t seen it yet). The movie will then become available on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD on October 14th.

However, Disney has not yet revealed a date for the movie’s release on Disney+, although if we’re looking at previous releases, we’re guessing it could land on the streaming subscription service sometime in late October or early November. That’s just a guess, though, and we’ll just have to wait and see what Disney does.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps introduces us to The Fantastic Four, a team of four superheroes who live in a 1960s retro-futuristic world, who have to fight Galactus from destroying Earth. The movie stars Pedro Pascal as Mister Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as The Thing, with Julia Garner as Silver Surfer.

Of course, the story is far from over for this team of superheroes. Marvel has promised they will return in Avengers: Doomsday.
