Disney Confirms MORE News About Its NEW Spider-Man Ride at Hong Kong Disneyland

We’ve got SUPER exciting news for Marvel fans, and it’ll prompt you to start saving up for a ticket to Hong Kong Disneyland!

The park’s new Moana restaurant is open now, and there’s a special Villains Party coming to Main Street later this Halloween season, OH, and there’s news about the mega Marvel expansion coming to the park!

Last August at the D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, Disney announced that it would be working on a Marvel expansion in Hong Kong Disneyland, including a new Spider-Man ride. Currently, you can enjoy the Iron Man Experience and Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle, both located in Tomorrowland.

But soon, this part of Tomorrowland is expanding! Hong Kong Disneyland will debut a new attraction featuring Tony Stark’s friend and new Stark Industries intern, Peter Parker. The story goes that when one of Spider-Man’s most formidable foes spots the new Stark Industries technology, Spider-Man has to protect both us and the tech to save the day. The new attraction will be the third pavilion to open at Stark Expo in Tomorrowland.

This expansion will include new shopping and dining locations, as well as brand-new entertainment. We just got a NEW piece of concept art for the attraction that has us even MORE excited! The concept art depicts the building all lit up at night — we even spot a character meet-and-greet happening nearby!

Based on some additional concept art, it looks like the ride vehicle could be similar to what we’ve seen for Tower of Terror in Disney’s Hollywood Studios and (though it’s not Disney) Battle at the Ministry at Universal’s Epic Universe. Not only will we see Spider-Man in the ride, but it looks like we’ll also see Thor, Doctor Strange, and Black Panther.

Former concept art has also shown us that it looks like Doc Oc will be a villain who shows up to crash the party — uh oh!
