CONFIRMED: Magic Kingdom’s NEW Pirate Lounge Will Be OPEN During Holiday Parties

We know where we’re dining for the holiday parties at Magic Kingdom this year!

If you’re about that pirates life, then you know that pirates life is year-round. Disney’s newest pirate-themed lounge, Beak and Barrel, is opening in Magic Kingdom soon, and Disney just announced a big surprise for us!

We’ve been getting a lot of news surrounding Beak and Barrel. We knew it was coming in 2025, but now we know it will officially open on August 29th! Disney has already given us sneak peeks at the full swashbuckling menu, exclusive souvenirs, and more.

Now, Disney has announced the brand-new lounge will be available for guests attending Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party AND Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. So what dates do we need to be aware of?

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party falls on select dates starting August 15th and goes through October 31st. However, Beak and Barrel does not open in Magic Kingdom until August 29th. So, those attending the party before then will most likely not get to access the new lounge.

If you’re attending Not-So-Scary after the opening of Beak and Barrel, feel free to enjoy snacks and refreshments at the new lounge! It may be for pirates, but Disney did specify that witches, ghosts, and bats are welcome. You will, of course, need a valid party ticket to enter the park and join the festivities! Maybe Disney has a fun Halloween surprise in store?! We can’t wait to check out the lounge during the Halloween party!

Now let’s talk Christmas, because even a pirate needs to get a little holly jolly from time to time. Disney didn’t post much information, but you’ll notice a note when you look at the Beak and Barrel on Disney World’s website. The note says, “Want to dine at this restaurant during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party? Check back in September 2025 for details!”

Looks like we’re going to have to wait one more month to find out more information on that, but we’re just excited that there will be Christmas party opportunities at the new lounge. Pirate Santa perhaps?
