Why Every Disney Adult Is Marking This Random August Weekend on Their Calendars

We’re a month away from one of the biggest events at Disney World this summer!

Destination D23 is almost here once again, and we can’t wait for all the announcements Disney has in store (fingers crossed we get some big ones).

Destination D23 will take place at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, and is set to bring fans a great weekend. The event is on August 29th through August 31st.

On top of the main showcase, Disney revealed some of the events that will be taking place during the weekend. This includes a D23 Kuzcotopia Night at Typhoon Lagoon, Disney ’80s-’90s Celebration in Concert, and The Walt Disney Archives Presents: Charting the Course, Disney’s Global Stories & Inspirations.

You’ll even get the chance to go on some shopping sprees during the event. Explore shops such as The Walt Disney Company Store, Mickey’s of Glendale, Disney Studio Store Hollywood, and Ink & Paint Marketplace.

We don’t know what type of announcements will be getting, but we do have a wish list. We would love to get more information on Monsters Inc. Land, Villains Land, Piston Peak, Tropical Americas, just to name a few!

Since this isn’t the massive D23 Expo that happens in Anaheim, we don’t think we’ll get anything crazy like a new park. However, we could have some fun and big reveals in store!
