CONFIRMED: Haunted Mansion Is CLOSING in Less Than Two Weeks at Disneyland

Disneyland Resort is in the middle of some pretty exciting projects!

A new Avatar land is on the way, as well as new attractions in Avengers Campus, but there’s also the change that happens every year around this time of year — the Halloween transformation! As part of the change, there’s one attraction that closes for a few weeks to reopen as its beloved seasonal version, and we’re here to remind you that you’ve only got a few weeks until that closure!

Haunted Mansion will close on August 9th to begin its transformation into Haunted Mansion Holiday for the Halloween and holiday season!

The ride will remain closed through August 21st to complete the transformation, and then will reopen as Haunted Mansion Holiday on August 22nd! Thankfully, that means you’ve only got to go a few weeks without this attraction before its back.

However, if Disneyland follows the same schedule as it did last year, we won’t see the NORMAL Haunted Mansion until mid-late January. January 18th was the day the regular Haunted Mansion version reopened to the public, which means we’re spending nearly half the year with Haunted Mansion Holiday.
