Disneyland Resort Hit with TONS of Price Increases

Things are getting more expensive at Disneyland Resort! Disneyland made A LOT of price increases on food and drink at Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure, and the Disneyland hotels. If you are heading to Disneyland soon, your trip might be a bit more expensive.

The price increases aren’t anything crazy — most of the increases range from $0.50 to $1. Although we did spot an increase as large as $2. However, even a $0.50 increase can make a difference in your overall budget for your trip. We are taking a look at some of the price increases, so you aren’t surprised when you make purchases on your next Disneyland trip.

We spotted price increases all around Disneyland Resort. From Disney California Adventure to Disneyland Park, and the Disneyland hotels, lots of food and drink items are now more expensive. We could be here all day if we were to go into each price increase in detail, so we will just highlight some of the changes. However, be sure to double-check menus if you have already created a budget for your trip, as prices are likely to have changed.

For starters, let’s look at some staple items. DASANI Bottled Water has increased from $4.39 to $4.79 per bottle. A regular Coca-Cola Freestyle drink has increased from $4.59 to $4.99, and assorted bottled beverages have increased from $4.89 to $5.19.

Over at Award Wieners, there were lots of price increases. A Bacon Street Dog went from $10.99 to $11.79; an All-Beef Hot Dog increased from $9.99 to $10.79, and the Asada Fries increased from $12.49 to $12.99. At Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream and Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor, a Single Scoop Waffle Cone or Cup went from $6.79 to $7.29. An Ice Cream Float increased from $7.49 to $7.99.

At Jack-Jack’s Cookie Num Nums, the Jack-Jack Cookie went from $8.25 to $8.75 and The IncrediCookie increased from $6.50 to $7.25. Over at Alien Pizza Planet, the Spaghetti & Meatballs went from $12.49 to $13.49 and the Chicken Sesame-Giner Vegetable Noodles increased from $13.49 to $14.49. The Felucian Kefta Garden Spread from Docking Bay 7 increased from $12.99 to $13.49.

Price increases also hit the Disneyland hotels. At the Craftsman Grill at the Grand Californian Hotel, the Poke Bowl increased from $24 to $26, the Hot Dog of the Month went from $16 to $17, and the Classic Pepperoni Pizza went from $28 to $29. The Tangaroa Terrace at the Disneyland Hotel also saw price increases including the Chocolate Croissant increasing from $6 to $6.50 and the Cinnamon Roll increasing from $8.75 to $9.25.

This is by no means an exhaustive list of price increases, but we did want to cover some of them. Price increases also happened at Lucky Fortune Cookery, Bengal Barbeuce, Plaza Inn, Stage Door Cafe, Tiana’s Palace, Schmoozies Smoothies, Pym Test Kitchen, and many more. Always make sure you are checking menus to see current prices and check again when you are dining at a restaurant. You never know when Disney might make a change in prices!

  1. I suppose if they are lowering some ticket prices (like the Costco ticket), then they’re making it up with the fact we all have to eat.
