Universal Reveals Epic Universe Park Hours for May 2025

Universal’s highly anticipated new theme park, Epic Universe, is less than a month away from its public grand opening, and now the resort has released some major news on the park’s operating schedule.

After several months of previews for media, Annual Passholders, and others, Epic Universe is set for a massive public grand opening on May 22nd. As that date inches ever closer, Universal has released the park’s operating hours for the first several weeks of operation.

From its opening on the 22nd through the rest of May, Epic Universe will be open from 9 AM to 9 PM each day, according to Universal Orlando’s in-app calendar.

From May 23rd through the end of the month, including Memorial Day weekend, the park will offer Early Park Admission for Universal Hotel guests beginning at 8 AM. Take note that said early entry park is NOT being offered on the park’s opening day, March 22nd based on this calendar.

Universal’s Epic Universe, the long-anticipated third full theme park at the Universal Orlando Resort, features four new, highly themed portals: Super Nintendo World, Dark Universe (themed to the Universal Monsters), Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic, and How to Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk, all of which surround the central Celestial Park area.
