Disney World is known for many things, but one of our favorites is its snack selection! We get to try lots of snacks at Disney and then give you all the details so you know what to snag and what to pass on.

We recently visited Liberty Square Market at Magic Kingdom and are here to give you a full review of the classics.
Background
Tucked in the heart of Liberty Square, Liberty Square Market is themed to 1776 colonial America. Around the market, you’ll see old-style buildings and lanterns hanging around.

The market is between Hall of Presidents and Columbia Harbour House, and only a few steps away from The Haunted Mansion. You can even catch the Festival of Fantasy Parade from the front of the market.

Now that you know what it’s about, let’s talk about what you need to know to eat here!
Atmosphere
Liberty Square Market is an outdoor food stand with lots of wooden tables, benches, and umbrellas. We love the shade these umbrellas provide, but be prepared that sometimes it can get hot!

You’ll order and wait for your food at the counter, but we found that it usually comes out fast since most of the items are premade.

There are large ice coolers filled with cold drinks like Coke, Powerade, apple juice, iced tea, and water. There are even a few on-the-go options like pickles and Babybel cheese if you’re looking for something to grab on the run.

They also have fruit, chocolate chip cookies, and bags of chips available near the counter.

Let’s dive into the food!
Food & Drinks
First, we tried the All-Beef Hot Dog for $9.49, which we thought was a traditional, classic hot dog.

If you’re looking for more familiar snacks, this could be a great place to stop because they’re iconic snacks done well. The hot dog was hot and had a soft, white bun. It had a great texture and a “snap” when we took a bite.

There were also plenty of condiments, such as ketchup, mustard, mayo, relish, and barbeque sauce. It’s self-serve, so you can grab as many as you’d like. It’s a bit on the pricey side, especially because it doesn’t come with a side, but we still enjoyed it.
We then tried the Turkey Leg for $13.49. This is an iconic Disney World snack, and you’ll start to feel envious when you see people walking around with them.

The skin was crispy, which we loved when eating, but cutting it in with plastic silverware or taking a bite straight from the bone was difficult. Once you got in, though, the inside was juicy and tender.

There was a bit of smokiness in the back and we thought it could use a little bit more salt, but it brought back all the Thanksviging vibes while we wait for November to roll around.
For drinks, we grabbed the Frozen Slushy in Fanta Cherry and Fanta Raspberry for $6.29. You can have each flavor separate or mix them together like we did!

This drink wasn’t overwhelmingly flavorful, but of the two flavors, cherry stood out a little more. They’re both artificial cherry and raspberry, but that’s how we like them for slushies.

It mostly tasted like ice instead of cherry or raspberry, but it’s a nice way to cool down while waiting in those hot outdoor queues.
