Downtown Disney is evolving!
Downtown Disney (located at the Disneyland Resort, not to be confused with Disney World’s Disney Springs) is scheduled to see not one, but TWO new stores open RIGHT NEXT TO EACH OTHER on December 6th! We checked out both stores earlier this week during their soft opening period, which is used to iron out operational issues prior to the grand opening.
First up, there’s Avengers Reserve. According to Disney, this new Marvel headquarters store allows you to celebrate your “fandom of the Avengers, Spider-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy and more as you shop and explore this space filled with statues, artwork, authentic film props, and music.”

Inside the store, there’s an impressive array of Marvel merchandise.
There are sections dedicated to all of Marvel’s major heroes, including Spider-Man…
…Captain America…
…and Iron Man.
There are stations where you can sample Marvel’s latest video games.
All of this is watched over by Baby Groot and Rocket Raccoon (who didn’t even ask to scan our hands…).
Next up, there’s D-Lander. This new shop will feature a variety of merchandise, including clothing, gifts, and a dedicated PANDORA Jewelry counter! Guests will also be able to “relax in the lounge area, and keep (their) eyes peeled for special Disney surprises around the store and in the artwork adorning the walls.”
The interior of the shop features a modern design that pays homage to Disney’s history.
The merchandise features a mixture of traditional Disney elements…
…with modern hip sensibilities…
…especially when it comes to the clothing.
There’s the aforementioned Pandora counter…
…as well as some other luxury-level merchandise.
There’s seasonal merchandise options as well.
Both of these swanky new shops are now open in Downtown Disney, adding some new retail experiences to the Disneyland Resort. Stay tuned to AllEars for more on the Disneyland Resort.
