One of Disney World’s most fun holiday offerings is only available at… a hotel?

There are many seasonal offerings at the Walt Disney World Resort’s theme parks. From Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Jollywood Nights to celebrations like EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays, the parks offer countless ways to celebrate. However, one of the best offerings on the property is available at the Swan & Dolphin Hotels.
The Swan & Dolphin Resort complex located near EPCOT provides a litany of special experiences during the Holiday season, but there’s one that’s ONLY available on Christmas Eve.
The Santa’s Magic Key program allows “Santa” to deliver gifts directly to guests’ rooms on Christmas Eve. All a guest needs to do is stop by the Concierge desk on December 24th and pick up a copy of Santa’s “magic key” to hang on their hotel room door over Christmas Eve night as a symbol that Santa will be dropping off gifts despite the rooms not having chimneys.

The hotel specifies that the key “only works for Santa,” and that supplies are limited. Beyond Santa’s Magic Key, the Swan & Dolphin also offers several other special Holiday events including:
- The Santa’s Dancing Light Spectacular, a light show that sees the causeway between the two hotels “come alive every 10 minutes after dusk in a musical & light display designed to delight!”
- Meet & Greet opportunities with Santa and Mrs. Claus, as well as their elf Kandy Kane at Santa’s Holiday Hangout by the Swan pool 6PM – 8PM on select nights.
- Cookie Decorating at Santa’s Holiday Hangout area at the Swan pool on select nights from 6PM to 8PM.
- The Elves Magical Workshop, “a magical workshop bustling with activity” that features a variety of craft stations where children can “decorate ornaments, assemble personalized gift bags, or even create their own stuffed toys. Each station is designed to spark their imagination and bring their ideas to life.”
- The Deck the Halls in-room decoration package.
- Santa’s Stocking delivery on Christmas morning.
- A Chocolate Santa Display handcrafted by two-time World Pastry Chef, Laurent Branlard.
- Winter Wonderland Bags for “children of all ages” which include “winter-themed crafts, candies, toys, and more!”

The Swan & Dolphin Resort complex offers some of the best Holiday events on Walt Disney World property, including the FREE Santa’s Dancing Light Spectacular. Stay tuned to DFB for more on Disney World’s holidays.
