We recently got to visit one of our FAVORITE events of the year!
That’s right, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is BACK and it’s filled with all the offerings you know and love, from fireworks to stage shows to character meets to free cookies. And of course, Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is back again!
This year, there have been a few small changes to Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, and we’ve rounded up the updates so you know what’s different.
First of all, we’ve got some changes in the Frozen section of the parade. The ice harvesters have been replaced by a group of random Arendelle citizens.
Also, Elsa’s dress has been updated! She’s now wearing the same outfit that you’ll see her wearing at her meet-and-greet during the party. Very wintery!
The props have changed slightly in the Toy Story section of the parade. Instead of carrying a copy of the Luxo Ball, the elves here now carry balls that look like Christmas ornaments.
And perhaps the biggest change is that some of the parade soundtrack has been updated. While the theme song and the main tunes remain the same, there are some songs added in throughout, including a few from The Nutcracker.
Besides these updates, there are a few small costume changes that you may notice, depending on the parade viewing. (Sometimes costumes can even differ slightly from night to night.)
That’s a wrap on all the parade changes! We’ll make sure to keep you in the loop with all the holiday news.
