SPOTTED: Disney’s TV Crew Was Seen FILMING the Christmas Day Parade at Magic Kingdom

Happy Holidays from Disney  World. Everything is red, green, and gold. The big Christmas trees are up, and there is holiday MAGIC in the air.

The holidays are here!

We’ve been to the first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, we’ve seen snoap, and the holiday snacks have arrived. However, today, something else arrived: the annual filming of the holiday parade in Magic Kingdom that you’ll be able to watch on TV on Christmas Day!

If you’ve ever watched the Disney World Christmas Day parade on ABC, you might be surprised that the parade is filmed early, in November. Well, today, we got to see the filming of the parade!  The first thing we noticed today was the set-up at the castle for the special filming.

Setting up

Things were a little different for parade filming this year. Last year, Cast Members were offered a chance to be part of filming and were set up in festive attire on Main Street, but regular Magic Kingdom visitors could also watch anywhere on the route. This year, though, Main Street was closed to everyone BUT Cast members.

So much fun

Everyone else had to watch the parade along the route through Frontierland and Liberty Square (needless to say, things were PACKED for viewing the parade).

Mary, Bert, Tigger, and Pooh

The parade featured lots of familiar faces, like Clarabelle.

The Seven Dwarfs also got in on the holiday cheer for the parade.

We’ll be keeping an eye out for more holiday happenings in Disney World, so check back with AllEars again soon for more.
