October was a busy month for Disney World, and it’s time to take a look at what rides decided they wanted to play tricks on us!

Disney World rides go down quite often — there are technical difficulties to account for, weather trouble, and others that we as the guests don’t know about. We did the math and were surprised to find out that some of the LEAST popular rides in all of Disney World went down the MOST this past month.
Magic Kingdom
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh closed the most in the park with a whopping 58 times over 24 days! That’s actually the most closures out of all the rides in the WHOLE resort.

In second place for Magic Kingdom was Prince Charming Regal Carrousel which closed 52 times over 27 days. Not far behind, and overall, Magic Kingdom had a ROUGH month.
EPCOT
The Seas with Nemo & Friends closed 28 times over 17 days, which is very surprising since it’s a relatively simple omnimover attraction. However, it does include a lot of screens, and if those go down, it could bring the whole attraction to a halt.

However, in second place was Frozen Ever After, closing 26 times over 20 days. This one makes more sense to us, since it has a ton of animatronics and moving parts that could easily shut the ride down.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Now, in this park, things were pretty normal — Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance closed 36 times over 21 days, which is exactly what we’d expect from a trackless dark ride that’s so impressive for its time.

In second place was Slinky Dog Dash, closing 28 times in 17 days. Since October has been quite the rainy month, this doesn’t surprise us in the slightest!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Back again with the least popular rides, TriceraTop Spin closed 37 times in 18 days! We do understand this is an outdoor ride, so it’s likely weather affected it as well, but we’ve also seen this ride generally struggling often lately.

Second is Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain which closed 22 times in 15 days. Honestly, this is pretty good for an attraction that’s been THROUGH it (still sad thinking that we’ll never get to see the Yeti in A Mode again). And, it’s outside as well, so weather can cause it to close.
