Welcome, one and all, to a new series I’m calling JP’s Mocktail Corner!

I’ve mentioned before that I personally don’t drink, as I’ve never really had an interest in it. If you’re the same way, choose not to drink for a different reason, or are under the age of 21 but still want to try some fun drinks around the resort, that’s where mocktails come in! I’ll be the first to admit that some areas of Disney World are still severely lacking in their mocktail game (looking at you, EPCOT), but Disney has some great ones you’ll want to try, like this one in Disney Springs!
Recently, I got to hang with Emma and Sage as they filmed an episode of Everything in Disney World. We stopped byJock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar, and I browsed the menu for some non-alcoholic options. Good news — I found one!
In fact, to my pleasant surprise, they had four different mocktails on the menu! They are:
- Antidote (Sprite and Maraschino Cherry Juice)
- Diving Bell (Simply Lemonade and Watermelon)
- Poisonless Dart (Soda Water with Mint, Simple Syrup, and fresh Lime Juice)
- Teddy’s Tea (Green Tea with Mint and Tangerine)

I’ve mentioned many times before that I’m quite picky, and two flavors I’m not a fan of are cherry and mint, so that basically scrapped three out of the four options for me. That left me with the Diving Bell for $5.50!

Now, is this essentially just watermelon lemonade? Yes, yes, it is, but I had no problem with that! It was quite refreshing, and I liked the combination of sweet, fruity flavors. The citrus of the lemon plus the sweetness of the watermelon was lovely!

My one warning is that this lemonade has a fair amount of pulp in it, so those sensitive to texture may be thrown off a bit. However, if that’s not something that bothers you and you’re a fan of watermelon and lemonade, this is certainly a solid option.

Now, I need to also talk about the inside Jock Lindsey’s; I have to say that I love the theming! It is so immersive and there is something new to look at in every corner. At the end of the day, is it somewhere I’ll stop by just to get this mocktail again? Not necessarily, but I am so glad to know there’s a drink here that I enjoy.

What’s your favorite drink to get at Jock Lindsey’s? Tell me in the comments!
Good article. I’m pleased to see you catering for non drinkers. It would be good to hear about the cherry and mint drinks, though, so next time maybe you could have a drinking partner with you to try drinks that you don’t think you’d like. Meanwhile, thanks for giving the information about the 4 drinks available even if there was no review.
I definitely will see if I have a partner with me when I go again so we can give more of a comprehensive review! Thank you for reading and for your kind words!
