We spend quite a bit of time in the Disney World parks, but there are SO many things to do outside the parks as well!
When you have a free evening or an off day from the parks, we love taking some time to visit Disney Springs with its plethora of shopping and dining options. And if you’re looking for something new to do in Disney Springs, we’ve got news for you!
Have you ever been to The Edison in Disney Springs? This restaurant is known for its gothic speakeasy style and unique offerings, located in The Landing section. And if you haven’t been before, now’s your chance — because The Edison is introducing Happy Hour!
The new Happy Hour takes place Sunday through Friday each week from 3-6PM. During that time, the restaurant offers a “sampling of signature appetizers and crafted cocktails at reduced prices.”
Options available during Happy Hour include Fried Pickles, Spinach Dip, and Electri-Fries, plus a Buffalo Trace Old Fashioned, Edison Lager, Frenzy Sauv Blanc, and Strawberry Fields Forever (made with Wheatley Vodka, St-Germain liqueur, honey, lime juice, strawberry, and mint). Sounds delish!
Reservations are available through the Disney World website and My Disney Experience app for The Edison, but they’re typically not too hard to snag. So if you’re in the middle of a shopping spree and you’re looking for something to stop for a light bite and a beverage, this may be just the place!
Don’t forget that you can also check out Shaken & Stirred Cocktail Classes at The Edison on select dates. These classes feature three cocktails and a light lunch and are led by an experienced bartender as you learn how to craft beverages. The Edison announced that the “Organic & Sustainable” class will take place on November 9th and “Big Screen Cocktails” will happen on November 23rd. Tickets start at $100 and can be purchased online ahead of time.
