Disneyland Is Going BIG for a Major Milestone Next Year!

Disney just announced a BUNCH of new offerings for the theme parks!

At the Disney Experiences showcase during D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, we got the lowdown on several exciting projects coming up soon, from theme park lands to new rides. Since then, people have been buzzing about all the upcoming offerings in the parks, but one item hasn’t been talked about much at all!

During the showcase, Disney Experiences Chairman Josh D’Amaro reminded the crowd that next year, 2025, is Disneyland Park’s (and Disneyland Resort’s!) 70th anniversary! D’Amaro revealed that Disney is gearing up for a BIG celebration to honor the major milestone.

We’ve seen plenty of big anniversary celebrations at Disneyland in the past, specifically for occasions like the 50th or 60th birthdays. Often, these celebrations will last a full year and feature special entertainment, character meets, merchandise, and more.

Disneyland’s official anniversary is on July 17th, so it’s possible that there will be special offerings on that day specifically. If you’re hoping to be there, you better mark your calendars now!

Disneyland’s most recent celebration was for the 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Company as a whole. During the Disney100 season, you could watch special fireworks shows, meet characters in 100th anniversary outfits, and indulge in lots of limited-time treats.
