AGH! Can you believe it’s almost that time? What time? Halloween, of course! Yep, we’re halfway to Halloween, and we’ve got BIG news to share.

Well, we’ve got a few more months until spooky season begins at Disney World, but Disney’s already been releasing information about our favorite time of the year, and we couldn’t be happier. If you’ve been planning to attend Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year, we now have new details about this year’s event!
We know exactly when the first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will begin, when tickets will go on sale, and what to expect at this year’s event. Ready to see what’s coming to Magic Kingdom this year? Let’s go!

As a little refresher, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a hard-ticketed event that allows you to celebrate the spookiest season of all in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. You can dress up in costumes, collect candy, meet characters, and more!

The party includes special entertainment, like Mickey’s Boo-to-You Parade, trick-or-treating throughout Magic Kingdom, and Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks show. Lots of characters are out in the park (some even wearing their own Halloween costumes).

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party runs on select nights from August 9th through October 31st. The party requires a separate admission, meaning your regular Magic Kingdom day ticket will not get you into to the Party. That said, if you purchase a Halloween Party ticket, you can enter as early as 4PM. The Halloween Party officially runs from 7PM to midnight.

Now, let’s talk about some of the NEW offerings this year! Disney revealed that Mickey and Minnie will be all dressed up in brand-new costumes during the party this year!

Speaking of character mee-and-greets, you will also be able to meet two NEW characters this year! Bruno and Mirabel will meet in the Fantasy Garden (near Cosmic Ray’s) throughout the party.

Now, in the past, we’ve danced the night away at all kinds of Disney dance parties! But this year, look out for a NEW DescenDANCE Party inspired by the upcoming movie called Descendants: The Rise of Red, coming to Disney+ on July 12th.

Some Disney dance parties even feature fun characters and fancy dancers — you never know who you might see!

We’re so excited this event is on its way soon, and can’t wait to hear even more information as Disney releases it.
