There are so many quick service options around Disney World.

Whether you are looking for a snack or a quick bite to eat, fast food meals are a great way to go. Not all quick-service restaurants are made the same, so we asked some Disney World experts (you, our wonderful readers) for their opinions on the worst quick-service restaurants at Disney World. Don’t worry! They also gave recommendations for where you should go instead!
In each of the four parks, there was a trend of which quick-service restaurants were a no-go and which our readers would rather eat at instead. These are just other people’s opinions, so if your favorite is on the “uncool” list, no stress! We won’t tell anyone.

Magic Kingdom
For Magic Kingdom, our reader’s responses were all overwhelmingly similar.

A majority of our readers all said that for Magic Kingdom quick service, Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe is a skip. Located in Tomorrowland, here you can find classic American food like burgers and chicken strips. This food is not great as it is just glorified freezer food, and our readers agree.

Chaka, a reader, shared that they avoid Cosmic Ray’s if they have to choose a quick-service meal at Magic Kingdom. Another reader, Shelby, shared that Cosmic Ray’s used to be a family favorite when they had the half chicken and ribs, but now that that is off the menu, they never dine there. Nancy, a reader, told us that they could not believe how bad Cosmic Ray’s was on their last trip, and that they used to love it.

Our readers who let us know that Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe is a skip pretty much all suggested this Magic Kingdom quick service instead.

In Liberty Square, you can find Columbia Harbour House. This menu features a lot of seafood, like Lobster Rolls and Grilled Salmon. Readers like Stephanie shared they would skip Cosmic Ray’s and instead dine at Columbia Harbour House. The same goes for readers like Chaka and Shelby.

Magic Kingdom can be lacking in quick-service restaurants, and the AllEars Team has a tip to beat the crowds and find a good meal. Midday, you can leave Magic Kingdom and take the resort monorail to one of the three monorail hotels: Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, or Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.

These resorts have great quick-service options, which allow you to be inside and beat the crowds. Some of our readers suggested this tip, as well.

One of our readers, Becky, agrees with this tip and said that they go to a monorail resort for lunch instead of a quick-service location in Magic Kingdom. Libby, a reader, said that one of their favorites is Gasparilla Island Grill, located at the Grand Floridian. Not only does the menu cater to an array of tastes, but the outdoor tables have a view of the castle.

Sometimes, leaving the parks for a meal can be a good move and give you downtime in between a busy park day.

Animal Kingdom
Heading over to Animal Kingdom, many readers shared that they don’t care for Flame Tree Barbecue. This quick-service restaurant is located on Discovery Island and serves, well, you guessed it, barbecue.

A few of our readers, like Shelby and Kenneth, agree that Flame Tree Barbecue is not their favorite. Some find it not very appealing, and barbecue is common where some of our readers live, so they would rather try other foods.

Where should you eat instead? Our readers say Satu’li Canteen. This quick-service location is in Pandora, and there are some interesting but fun menu options! We love the Cheeseburger Steamed Buns, which are basically a cheeseburger stuffed inside of a bao bun. You can also find colorful options like the Ocean Moon Bowl. Don’t let the blue noodles scare you; it is actually quite delicious!

EPCOT
EPCOT is known for its wide variety of food and drink offerings, especially at World Showcase.

If you go to EPCOT, you most likely are not going in for one of the quick-service options located outside of World Showcase. Our readers skip out on Sunshine Seasons, which is located inside the Land Pavilion.

Sunshine Seasons serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For lunch and dinner, you can find Pizza Rolls and Birria Tacos. We also occasionally get the Mediterranean Vegetable Sandwich. While these options are good, many of our readers skip the quick service at the front of the park for the wide variety of food available in World Showcase.

That’s right, our readers shared that they would rather eat, drink, and snack around the world instead. Gia and Shelby, two of our readers, both agree with this. We totally feel the same way about festivals in EPCOT. Rather than spending a meal at a quick-service or table-service restaurant, it is more fun to snack your way through EPCOT and try multiple things.
Hollywood Studios
Hollywood Studios was tough for our readers. Many of them said that they would rather not eat at a quick service restaurant there since they find all the options repetitive. Readers like Mat and Nancy find good quick-service options in Hollywood Studios to be scarce.

Other readers agree that if you need to narrow down your choices, you should skip PizzeRizzo. Located in Muppets Square, PizzaRizzo serves up mini personal pizzas. This pizza is nothing special, but the theming inside is awesome, so if you are a fan of the Muppets, you should still check it out.

As for where you should eat, many of our readers, like Mat, Shelby, and Janice, recommend ABC Commissary. In the past, ABC Commissary was lackluster in food options, but recently, they revamped their menu. One of our favorite things to eat here is the Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese Sandwich.

We know that ABC Commissary still might get a bad rep, so our readers also recommended Woody’s Lunchbox. Located in Toy Story Land, Woody’s Lunchbox serves up fan favorites like Totchos and Lunchbox Tarts. While there are great food options, one of our readers pointed out that Woody’s Lunchbox tends to get crowded, and there is not much shade, so if you want to cool off, stick to going to ABC Commissary instead.

Choosing where to eat in Disney World can be tough, and hopefully our Disney experts gave you some ideas of what quick-service restaurants to avoid and which ones you should try on your next visit to Disney World!
