NEWS: 5 THEMED LANDS CONFIRMED for Universal's Epic Universe

We are not so patiently counting down the days until Universal’s NEW theme park, Epic Universe, opens.

And, although we don’t have an official opening date, we do know that the park is slated to open sometime in 2025. We’ve been keeping up with the latest updates and looking behind the scenes to get an idea of what might be coming to this park, and now we officially have an answer!

Universal just shared a ton of new details about Epic Universe including confirming 5 lands that are coming to the park! Let’s break it all down.

Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic

Universal shared that this is where guests can discover a “different era” of the wizarding world in an all-new land that blends 1920s wizarding Paris from Fantastic Beasts along with “the iconic British Ministry of Magic from the Harry Potter series.”

Super Nintendo World

Super Nintendo World will have guests entering through an iconic green pipe to discover a new way to play along with Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Donkey Kong.

How to Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk

On the Isle of Berk, you’ll “soar with dragons in a colorful world filled with Viking adventures” based on the How to Train Your Dragon franchise.

Dark Universe

Dark Universe is where you’ll experience all things spooky like Dr. Victoria Frankenstein’s experiments and the “shadowy landscape where monsters roam in a world of myth and mystery.”

Celestial Park

We’ve got lots of new details about Celestial Park! Universal shared, “As soon as guests enter the imaginative world, they’ll embark on a journey of discovery, thrills and excitement as they wander through lush living gardens nestled along shimmering waters surrounded by stunning architecture inspired by astronomical and mythological elements.”

This is also the “gateway” to the four additional worlds of the park that will “go beyond guests’ wildest imaginations.” We can’t wait to see what else Universal has in store for Epic Universe, and we’ll be keeping you updated along the way!
