Without a doubt, Disney World vacations can be extremely fun — but they can also be extremely expensive.

Going to Disney World is a blast, but there’s no denying it can eat a chunk out of your wallet. Let’s do the basic math — you’re paying for travel, lodging, park tickets, souvenirs, and not-so-obvious things like Genie+. Then there are meals. Food can take up a huge chunk of your budget, but we’re here to tell you it doesn’t have to.
When talking about food, we have to mention EPCOT. Disney World’s most eclectic park is a fantastic hub for diverse experiences, including dining options. Before we dive in to the cheapest meals, Emma just took us on an EPCOT food tour, and you can watch the video right here.
There truly is something for everyone at EPCOT, and not every meal has to break the bank. Let’s take a look at some of the cheapest meals you can find at World Showcase!

Let’s start where many do — in the Mexico Pavilion. La Cantina de San Angel is a waterside quick-service spot where you can find Mexican cuisine like nachos, tacos, and churros. For $14, you can grab the Empanadas con Queso, which comes with fried flour tortillas filled with cheese and topped with sour cream, salsa verde, and queso fresco. This meal is also served with rice and black beans with queso fresco.

Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe in the Norway Pavilion features a lot of goodies for under $7, but we have to single out the School Bread for $4.79. For those not in the know, School Bread is a sweet roll filled with custard and dipped in coconut. If you find yourself in this Nordic pavilion, we definitely recommend giving this snack a try — it makes a great breakfast!

Quick service is the name of the game when it comes to cheaper eating at Disney World, and Lotus Blossom Café at the China Pavilion houses our next cheap meal. The Vegetable Stir-Fried is the cheapest entrée on the menu at $12.75 and is served with spicy noodles. You can pair it with Pork Egg Rolls or Chicken Pot Stickers for under $8 each, as well.

Over in the Germany Pavilion, Sommerfest is a quick-service spot that serves bratwurst, pretzels, beer, and a tasty pretzel bread pudding. For a cheap meal, check out the bratwurst for $11.49, which is served on a freshly baked roll with sauerkraut and house-made paprika chips.

When in doubt, pizza is usually a safe bet for affordable eats and Pizza al Taglio in the Italy Pavilion serves slices at a pickup window. Attached to Via Napoli, Pizza al Taglio serves pepperoni pizza, Margherita pizza, and Nutella tiramisu for $9 or less.

The next cheap meal is one of the healthiest on this list — the Power Greens Salad at Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue in the American Adventure Pavilion at EPCOT. This salad is $10.29 and comes with mixed greens tossed with fresh citrus fruit, sunflower seeds, dried cranberries, and radishes, all mixed with a fresh citrus vinaigrette dressing. For $2 extra, you can add chilled pulled chicken.

You can actually get some pretty affordable sushi at EPCOT! Over in the Japan Pavilion, Katsura Grill is a counter-service eatery with sushi, udon, and teriyaki dishes. Here, you can find $10 California Rolls and $9 Vegetable Rolls that should satiate your sushi cravings!

If you seek good/affordable Mediterranean food, head over to the Morocco Pavilion and visit Spice Road Table. Here you will find the Spice Road Table Sampler for $15. The sampler is served with lamb kefta, tzatziki, spiced chicken, and tiropitakia. While not technically the cheapest item on the menu, this sampler will give you many flavors for a price that isn’t outlandish.

This next pick is a copout because it’s a whole restaurant. Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie in the France Pavilion serves a variety of sandwiches, pastries, French specialties (like quiche), and desserts, all for $15. In fact, most items on this menu are under $10, making it a fantastic spot to grab a cheap meal.
