You Win, Disney. This Is the BEST News We've Seen All Week

If you send us a cat video online, we will enjoy it. If you show us pictures of your dog, we will appreciate every photo. If you offer to take us to Disney’s Animal Kingdom to watch the gorillas, you will become our best friend. From little baby ducks to giant giraffes, we love alllll the animals of Disney World.

So, whenever Disney shares an update that a new baby has joined the family, we RUN to check out the photos. One super knowledgeable Cast Member, @drmarkatdisney, just shared the cutest news we’ve seen all day, and you need to check it out.

Baby alert! Disney’s Animal Kingdom welcomed eight newborns to the park. Disney’s lesser Madagascar hedgehog tenrec named, wait for it, Glitter Toaster Strudel just gave birth to some adorable babies.

According to @drmarkatdisney, “Glitter Toaster Strudel and her new babies are ambassador animals, helping teach guests about the species and how they can help protect wildlife.” Look out for Glitter Toaster Strudel at Conservation Station at Rafiki’s Planet Watch!

Here’s a closer look at the lesser Madagascar hedgehog tenrec, a.k.a. Glitter Toaster Strudel. Turns out that this species is actually more closely related to moles than hedgehogs, according to Dr. Mark! Isn’t she just the cutest thing you’ve ever seen?
