NEWS: Universal Announces New Visa Credit Card COMING SOON

It probably sounds counterintuitive when we tell you that a great way to save money and budget for your Orlando theme park vacation is to open a credit card.

However, there are actually so many ways to save money and rack up some perks by getting a credit card! From discounts, to cash back benefits, to even TRIP PLANNING perks, they can be a great choice! Disney Visa Cards are a popular choice as they allow Disney Parks visitors the opportunity to get cash back and rewards from shopping and dining in the parks as well as some trip planning options. There was never an option like this for Universal Orlando visitors, UNTIL NOW.

That’s right! Per Click Orlando, Universal Destinations and Experiences is now offering the Universal Rewards Plus Visa Signature Card, which will allow visitors a whole new way to pay for day-to-day necessities while also enjoying park perks and benefits, the ability to earn rewards for Universal products, experiences, and travel.

Universal’s president of global marketing, Alice Norsworthy, said, “By forming this partnership with Visa, we can offer unique theme park benefits to cardholders and further enhance our guest experience. This will put the thrills of Universal in the hands of our fans and provide a new way to earn rewards and get exclusive benefits.”

First National Bank of Omaha will be the card program issuer, and will offer card designs that feature Universal’s characters and icons. Universal also shared that select Visa cardholders will also be able to enjoy food, drink, AND merchandise benefits, and even a VIP Lounge! How cool is that?!
