Trail’s End Restaurant has been CLOSED at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground as it undergoes a massive transformation, but it’ll be opening soon!

Disney already revealed that the table service option at this restaurant will be going away and it’ll instead be a “marketplace concept with expanded quick service options.” Recently, they announced that the restaurant will reopen on July 27th, but now we’ve got menu details too!
First, let’s start with the looks. Disney has shared that Trail’s End (along with Crockett’s Tavern) will have a “fresh, new look that enhances the resort’s quaint charm and honors its heritage at the heart of the Walt Disney World Resort, with warm wooden furnishings, beamed ceilings, and rustic accents.” We can’t wait to see it all in person!

Now, let’s get to the menu! As noted above, the table service option will NOT be returning to this spot. Instead, the restaurant has entirely been reimagined into just a quick service restaurant. There will be family-sized entrees, individual-sized entrees, and more.
Pizza
For starters, there will be an on-stage pizza station. You’ll be able to get just a slice or the entire pie. 2 new options will be available:
- A smokehouse-style pizza topped with house-smoked brisket, sausage, and pepperoni
- A roasted vegetable pie
Classic pepperoni and cheese will also still be available.

Market-Style Selections
There will also be Market-Style Selections, including an entire Hot Grab-and-Go section where you can “pick from the proteins.” Disney notes that this spot will have:
- Pecan-smoked whole chicken or brisket
- Rack of pork ribs
- Fried chicken
- Sides available by the pound including macaroni & cheese, plant-based cowboy beans, and mashed potatoes.

Plus, you’ll be able to order some classics like cheeseburgers, plant-based vegetable burgers, chicken nuggets, and french fries.
Looking for comfort food? Check out the Homestyle Meals, which will offer cornbread, coleslaw, and mashed potatoes with gravy and your choice of half a slab of barbecued ribs or two pieces of fried chicken.
Dessert and Coffee
Looking for a sweet treat? Check out the hand-scooped ice cream. There will also be specialty coffees available, like a Wilderness Latte with flavors of chocolate and hazelnut.
There will also be new and returning sweets in the market, a house-made bakery. There, you’ll find:
- Banana Pudding
- Carrot Cake Cupcake
- Blueberry Bread Pudding
- Strawberry Shortcake from Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue (available in a single-serve portion)
- Plant-based Lemon-Blueberry Trifle (layers of lemon curd, fresh blueberries, and whipped ‘cream’)

The pastry team has worked on more recipes including:
- Fort Fruity Cookie featuring fruity cereal and white chocolate chips or the Peanut Butter and Jelly Cupcake
- The S’more Cupcake
- The S’mores Cookie

Drinks and Snacks on the Go
You can also get drinks and snacks on the go, including “the new Chicken Wrap featuring the new house-made blueberry BBQ sauce or the returning favorite Pioneer Berry Salad.”
