There’s a NEW DOLE Whip in town — but is it worth your time and cash? We found out!

We’ve seen all kinds of DOLE Whips (and DOLE Whip-inspired items) over the past few months. From a DOLE Whip bag to DOLE Whip snacks you can get from Walmart. But now a brand NEW creation has landed in Disney World and we just had to give it a try!
Introducing the NEW Heart of Te Fiti Mochi DOLE Whip Cup. This special snack can be found at Pineapple Lanai at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. It’s a specialty treat that has arrived in celebration of Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month (you can see the full list of limited-time snacks HERE).

The snack is made of DOLE Whip pineapple with mochi cake, moana-inspired white chocolate, and an edible flower. When we ordered it, we were told that you could get it with pineapple DOLE whip (as it comes), or you could get it with a pineapple and vanilla swirl, or even just with vanilla if you want.
It’s priced at $6.29.

So, is the snack worth your time? Well, you start off with a classic DOLE Whip (if you opt for pineapple) so that’s a great base. The tropical flavor is fun, cool, and refreshing — a true “win” on a hot Florida day.
The mochi cake was semi-sweet and actually complimented the DOLE Whip’s flavor well. But the texture and flavor of the mochi can be a little more unique if it’s something you haven’t had before. Don’t go into this expecting the texture and flavor of a regular cake, ’cause this ain’t it! Instead, the cake is chewier — but if you go in knowing that you may really enjoy it!

The edible flower is a little more on the lettuce-tasting side (a bit unique with this snack) but is crunchy, offering a nice texture difference. And the Moana-inspired chocolate decor is really just simple white chocolate — nothing that’ll blow your mind, but nothing that’ll make you go “yuck!” either (unless you hate white chocolate!).
Before we start singing “YOU’RE WELCOME” 🎶 we have to tell you about Pineapple Lanai’s latest treat! The Heart of Te Fiti Mochi DOLE Whip Cup is $6.29 and has DOLE Whip Pineapple with Mochi Cake, Moana-inspired White Chocolate, and an Edible Flower 🌺 pic.twitter.com/hptIVvQimp

The snack will only be around through May 30th though, so if you do want to give it a try, be sure to visit soon. The hotel is just a quick monorail ride away from Magic Kingdom, so it could be a great midday snack that’ll give you a chance to escape the crowds!
