Another NEW Restaurant Is Coming to Downtown Disney

Disneyland  has been making us Disney World fans JEALOUS this year.

We love the newly-reimagined ToonTown and have to admit that the Mickey & Minnie Runaway Railway ride there is superior thanks to its incredible queue. PLUS Rogers The Musical will be debuting there soon, and several new restaurants will be opening soon. But now there’s ANOTHER new restaurant headed Disneyland’s way.

Clyde’s Hot Chicken will be headed to Disneyland’s Downtown Disney shopping and dining district soon! The restaurant, based in Fullerton, CA, is a hot chicken restaurant that “serves mild to very spicy fried chicken, Southern sides, and local brews in a casual, counter-service eatery.”

According to Clyde’s Hot Chicken’s website, guests in Downtown Disney will be able to order delectable goodies like Clyde’s Original, which is a fried chicken sandwich with Southern slaw and dill pickles on a Brioche bun. Other chicken items include Strips, Hot Wings, Chicken Bites, a Nash Wrap, Chicken and Waffles, and more.

There is no ETA on when the new restaurant might open or where it will be located, but there is a message that the Anaheim location is now hiring, suggesting that the opening date might be soon.

Clyde’s will join other new Downtown Disney restaurants, including the Earl of Sandwich Tavern restaurant, as well as the upcoming Porto’s Bakery, Din Tai Fung, Paseo, and Centrico.
