From Avatar: The Way of Water, the third-highest-grossing film of all time, to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and Turning Red, Disney had a fair amount of representation at the Oscars. Let’s see how they did!

According to CNN, at the 95th Acadamy Awards, the Walt Disney Company took home two Oscars for some of the biggest movies this year. Ruth Carter took home the Oscar for Best Costume Design for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. This makes her the first Black woman to win two Oscars in any category. Carter previously won the same Oscar for Black Panther in 2019.

The second Oscar Disney took home was for Best Visual Effects for Avatar: The Way of Water. This comes after it was named the THIRD Highest Grossing film of all time back in February.
