UPDATE: This refurbishment has been extended to “late this fall” at Disney’s Beach Club Resort.
It has been a BIG few years for Disney World’s hotels.

A number of the hotels on the property have slowly been undergoing refurbishments, with rooms getting completely made over. Along with refurbishments at Disney’s Grand Floridian, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, and more, we can also expect new updates to another resort!
Disney has shared that the villas at Disney’s Beach Club Resort will be undergoing refurbishments starting this month. The villas will be undergoing refurbishments from January 7th, 2023 through April 2023.

During this time, resort amenities will still remain open and available. Disney shared that some construction noise may be apparent, but will not take place between dusk and 9AM.

While not many details have been shared about the refurbishments, so far we’ve seen subtle IP-inspiration seep into the room makeovers. At Caribbean Beach, The Little Mermaid theming has taken over the updated rooms. At Disney’s Grand Floridian, the updated rooms have taken inspiration from Mary Poppins.

We’ll continue to keep you updated with any further information or details, so stay tuned to AllEars for more.

Very excited! Villa rooms are in need of a makeover. Last few times we have stayed the rooms have been very worn down. I hope they replace all the sleeper sofas.
