How You Can Soon Bring Amazon's 'Hey Disney' to Your Home

How would you like Disney to be your personal assistant?

Amazon and Disney have teamed up to create a new digital assistant called Hey Disney! — it’s set to make its debut in Disney World hotel rooms. However, you could soon be able to bring the service TO YOUR OWN HOME.

Hey Disney! actually works with Amazon’s Alexa technology allowing you to say “Hey, Disney!” to connect with your favorite Disney, Pixar, and Star Wars characters through an Echo device.

The service, which will be complimentary to Disney World hotel guests in-room, features “authentic character voices, unique audio environments inspired by our films and destinations, and more than a thousand magical interactions to discover.” We previously got to see a sneak peek of it in action!

Isn’t that cool? Well, what if you could bring that to your home? Well, according to TechCrunch, you may be able to soon. While showing off the voice assistant at the Consumer Electronics Show, Amazon said that customers will soon be able to purchase it for their own homes!

No launch date has yet been announced, but Amazon did comment that the digital assistant would become available to the general public later this year. We’ll keep an eye out and let you know when you can buy your own Hey Disney! device!
