On your visit to Disney World, it’s very rare for everything to go 100% perfect.
Rides and experiences malfunction or are closed for a variety of reasons including technical difficulties and weather. While we’ve seen Rise of the Resistance go down (sometimes several times in one day), an underrated attraction is now closed in Disney World.
We were visiting Magic Kingdom today when we noticed that Country Bear Jamboree was closed.
Cast Members set up a few games outside to entertain guests while the attraction is closed. We’ve seen Cast Members do this at other closed rides before!
We spoke to a Cast Member about the closure and they said that it has not been able to open all day. They do not know when the attraction will be able to reopen and it could be closed for the remainder of the day. The Cast Member said “it’s a maintenance issue and therefore we’re not even allowed to go in and look at it.”
So what should you do if one of your must-do attractions is closed in Disney World? Well, there’s not much you can do to control if the ride is open or not, BUT you can keep checking the My Disney Experience app. Wait times are continuously updating in the app and that is one of the quickest ways to see if an attraction is closed or open!
UPDATE: According to the My Disney Experience app, Country Bear Jamboree has reopened as of 3:20PM EST.
We’ll be on the lookout for more Country Bear Jamboree updates, so stay tuned for more!

Hopefully it will be closed for good soon. It’s a dated ride that not many care about. Time to update it and make it worthwhile.
I love the Country Bear Jamboree. Whenever we visit Disney we go to see the show!!
This is one of the last attractions that Walt took part in and it made him laugh before he died. So it needs to be kept as is no changes at all!
One of my all time favorites.
Super boring. I did it one time and never again..
They need to keep the Country Bear Jamboree in good shape it was one of the last things Walt had a part in before he died!
I have always LOVED CBJ, but for the love of all that is holy, can someone please tell the imagineers that the sound system needs a massive upgrade? It’s always so music heavy and weak on the lyric soundtrack.
