The D23 Expo just brought a huge reveal for the highly-anticipated live-action film, The Little Mermaid.
We’ve known The Little Mermaid would be joining the list of Disney live-action remakes for a while now, and we found out the release date about a year ago. We also know that Ursula’s backstory gets an interesting twist in this new edition, but we haven’t heard much news since. Until today, that is, because the trailer for the new movie is finally here!
During today’s Walt Disney Studios and Pixar Panel, the trailer for the live-action The Little Mermaid film was released. And don’t worry if you weren’t there — we’ve got it right here for you to watch!
The film stars Halle Bailey as Ariel and Melissa McCarthy as Ursula. And during the panel, we were told 4 new songs would be included in the film! The Little Mermaid will hit theaters May 26th, 2023.
Lots of other live-action remakes are on the way too! Pinocchio was just recently released on Disney+, and Hercules and Snow White are on their way. Stay tuned to AllEars for all the latest Disney live-action remake news!
