There have been some BIG health and safety changes in the travel world this week.
Recently, a federal judge in Florida voided the national public transportation mask mandate. Following that ruling, TSA announced that they would no longer be enforcing the mask mandate, and several airlines changed their policies as well. Now, we’ve got an update from the Orlando International Airport.
If you’re flying into or out of MCO soon, then it’s important to note that face masks are now optional throughout the Orlando International Airport and its facilities.
Face Mask Update: TSA will no longer enforce Security Directives and Emergency Amendment requiring mask use on public transportation and transportation hubs. Face masks are now optional in our airport and facilities.

If you’re flying Delta, American, JetBlue, Southwest, Spirit, or a number of other major airlines, masks are no longer required on your flights as well. Keep in mind that we’ve seen health and safety policies fluctuate throughout the pandemic, so we recommend that you be prepared for any situation if you’re traveling soon.
