Although face coverings are now optional for fully vaccinated guests in Disney World, they have still been required to be worn on most Disney transportation methods (besides the Skyliner). This policy is now getting another update, which could impact your upcoming vacation.

Up until today, masks have been required to be worn by all guests on Disney buses and the Monorail. This is changing, and masks are now optional for fully vaccinated guests on all Disney World transportation. (Note that Disney previously changed their policy to make face masks optional on the Skyliner as well.)

That means that if you’re fully vaccinated, you will no longer be required to wear a mask anywhere in Disney World (except at First Aid stations). You can still choose to wear a mask if you prefer, or you can go without. Disney recommends that guests who are not fully vaccinated wear face coverings in all indoor locations.
