NEW Food Coming to Disney World for ‘Turning Red’

Disney and Pixar’s newest film, Turning Red, is about 13-year-old Mai Lee, who learns that she can transform into a giant red panda whenever she gets too excited! As if being a teenager isn’t hard enough.

Turning Red will premiere on Disney+ on March 11th, 2022, and Disney World is celebrating with some special new foods to try! Plus, if you want to catch a sneak peek, there’s one spot to visit. Find out more here!

In Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you can catch a sneak peek of Turning Red at the Walt Disney Presents theater, before its release on Disney+! This sneak peek includes never-seen-before clips, so if you’re in Hollywood Studios this week, check it out!

If you’re hungry, there are a few Turning Red treats you can enjoy too! At Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs from March 11th to March 31st, you can try the Turning Red Mini Dome Cake, which is based on the classic Canadian Nanaimo Bar dessert. The dome cake is made with layers of chocolate brownie, coconut, nuts, vanilla custard, and semi-sweet chocolate.

Because Mei Lee is Chinese-Canadian, the Canada pavilion in EPCOT is celebrating in a big way! At the Canada Popcorn Cart, try the Pand-Ade, which is coconut-pomegranate lemonade with pomegranate boba pearls, from March 1st to May 31st.

Visit Le Cellier Steakhouse from March 1st to May 31st to get a few new dishes, including the Beef Stir Fry Poutine, made with fresh-cut fries, Canadian cheddar, stir-fry beef, and gravy with Asian flavors.

You can also try the Shrimp & Pork Dumplings, made with pickled cucumber, sesame-soy drizzle, and crispy noodles.

And lastly, get some dessert with the Turning Red Cake, made of citrus and vanilla chiffon cake, with raspberry coulis and fresh strawberries. All three dishes are available from March 1st to May 31st.
