There’s a lot of new content to look forward to on Disney+!
On Disney+ Day there were TONS of announcements about upcoming titles, like Hocus Pocus 2, originals like Sneakerella, and TONS of new Marvel series. We’ve also seen several new films premiere on Disney+, like Black Widow and Raya and the Last Dragon, and now another Pixar and Disney film is scheduled to premiere on the streaming network!
Disney announced today that Disney and Pixar’s upcoming film, Turning Red, will premiere exclusively on Disney+ for FREE to subscribers on Friday, March 11th, 2022!
If you’re not familiar, the movie is set in the early 2000s and follows thirteen-year-old Mei Lee, who discovers that she transforms into a giant red panda whenever she gets excited — as if being a teenager isn’t hard enough!
It is set to star Rosalie Chiang as the voice of Mei Lee and Sandra Oh as her mom, Ming. Plus, it is directed by Domee Shi, the same director of the beloved Pixar short film Bao.
