BREAKING: Opening Timeline Announced for NEW Toy Story-Themed Restaurant in Disney World

2021 may have been filled with new restaurants, rides, and more that returned to Disney World, but we’re already gearing up for more in 2022!

Disney has already announced that the new indoor roller coaster, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, will open sometime in summer 2022 and now we’ve got an update on a brand new restaurant coming soon to one park!

Today, Disney announced that the NEW Roundup Rodeo BBQ restaurant will officially open in Disney’s Hollywood Studios in 2022!

This Table Service restaurant was originally set to open in 2020 but construction was postponed due to the unprecedented closure of the parks at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

If you’re not familiar, Roundup Rodeo BBQ will join Toy Story Land’s already popular Quick Service restaurant, Woody’s Lunch Box, and will be themed to feel like a rodeo run by Andy’s toys. Plus, the building itself is even supposed to look like you’ve walked into one of Andy’s very own creations made out of cardboard and tape!

Disney has also revealed that, once inside, guests will learn exactly “what it feels like to be one of Andy’s honorary toys” as they enter into the two large dining room spaces where Andy’s rodeo is taking place. The rodeo will be in “full swing” featuring a “western town and train station playsets” that all combine with “surprising, playful details, like some fan-favorite Pixar characters as they’ve never been seen before.”

Disney hasn’t shared an exact date or timeframe for the restaurant, but we’ll be on the lookout for more details! And, in the meantime, stay tuned to AllEars for more Disney news and updates!
