It’ll Cost You $5,000 (!!!) to Snag a Spot at This Exclusive Disney World Dining Event

Disney Springs is home to so many incredible restaurants.

Morimoto Asia

Morimoto Asia is owned by Japanese master chef Masaharu Morimoto, serving Pan-Asian cuisine with a mix of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean dishes. In December they will be hosting a special event that costs quite a bit, with the rare opportunity to try a special Japanese whisky. How much would YOU pay for this?

On December 4th, Morimoto Asia will be hosting the Yamazaki 55 Momokase event featuring Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto and the Japanese whisky Yamazaki 55, which is actually the rarest AND oldest Japanese whisky. According to Morimoto Asia, there were only 200 bottles produced of the 55-year old whisky, and Morimoto Asia has one bottle.

This event will begin at 7:30PM and there will be multiple courses from a menu designed by Chef Morimoto. Every dish is customized to pair with the rare Yamazaki whisky, of which they also have bottles aged 12, 18, and 25 years. At the end of the meal, guests will taste the Yamazaki 55, and everyone will receive a custom engraved Yamazaki 55 glass.

Now let’s get down to the cost. This event is VERY limited. There are only 14 seats available in total and they cost a pretty penny at $5,055 per person. So you just have to decide — is $5,055 worth it to you to taste this rare Yamazaki 55 whisky? You can reserve your spot on Morimoto Asia’s website now!
