The parks aren’t the only spots to get a holiday makeover in Disney World — the resorts get a glow-up too!
So far this year, we’ve seen GIANT gingerbread displays return to two hotels and the first Christmas tree appeared at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge just yesterday. And, today more hotels were decked out for the season on the Magic Kingdom monorail line!
Our first stop was Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa! The hotel lobby is already home to a life-sized gingerbread house (that Disney actually sells gingerbread out of), and now the HUGE Christmas tree has also returned!
It’s filled with victorian-styled ornaments that fit with the theming of the hotel.
And, there are more holiday decorations to find around the lobby including garland lining the stairs…
…and wreaths just outside of the hotel’s Beauty and the Beast-themed lounge, Enchanted Rose.
Next up was a trip to Disney’s Contemporary Resort and we didn’t even have to step inside to get our first taste of the holidays. Out front, you can find a giant hidden Mickey made out of poinsettias and, of course, the Contemporary also has an oversized tree to see!
Plus, the entryway is decked out with garland…
…and the newly refurbished lobby got some new additions too.
We’re still waiting on holiday decorations to arrive over at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, but we’ll be sure to bring an update once they do. And, in the meantime, stay tuned to AllEars for more of the latest Disney news!
