It’s official time to say farewell to FastPass, because Lightning Lanes will takeover Disney World in time for the big 50th anniversary celebrations!

50th Anniversary!

Although the new feature hasn’t rolled out on Disney Genie+ just yet, the parks have started to prepare early with Lightning Lane signs at their attractions. And, we’re giving you a FULL look at the signs we’ve seen so far! But, let’s have a quick recap of what Lightning Lanes are, shall we?

Lightning Lane will replace FastPass is Disney World, as guests are able to make reservations for quicker lines using the paid Disney Genie+ or Individual Attraction Selection. Guests can reserve spots at select attractions that allow them to skip the standby, opting for the Lightning Lane instead. Only one reservation can be held at a time, as guests can choose their next destination after scanning in. Yet, only two Individual Attraction Selections can be purchased per day for certain popular rides.
