Update: If you are eligible and attempt to purchase the 50th Anniversary MagicBand, you may find that it is sold out at the time you search for it. The band could sell out but could also be restocked. If you are looking to buy this souvenir, be sure to keep an eye on the list of MagicBands that are available for you to purchase in advance of your trip to see if it eventually becomes available again. Can you believe we are a matter of WEEKS away from the start of Disney World’s 50th anniversary?
As the parks have set the stage, quite literally, for an amazing event, we’ve been especially excited about all the EARidescent merchandise that will be themed for the occasion. And, if you’ve been loving everything EARidescent, you’re going to want to add this 50th anniversary accessory to your collection!
Thanks to our reader Joe (@schreiberjoe on Instagram), we were alerted to the NEW 50th Anniversary MagicBand that’s currently available for Disney World Resort Hotel guests and Annual Passholder to pre-order! Last year, Disney World discontinued free MagicBands for Resort hotel guests, followed by discontinuing free MagicBands for Annual Passholders earlier this month.
The dark blue band is decorated with park icons and fan-favorite characters, like Orange Bird and Dumbo.
There’s even a clip with Disney World’s 50th anniversary logo, so you can show it off to everyone in the parks!
Right now, it’s exclusively available for Annual Passholders and Resort hotels guests to pre-order for $30. We’ll keep you updated as more 50th anniversary merchandise comes to the parks and online as we get closer to the big day!
This was NOT the Marvel merchandise we expected to see in Disney World!

Just logged on to get this magic band for my upcoming trip and it is not available… could they already be sold out?? Or am I not doing this right…
I just checked as well. It doesn’t show up for me to buy under my upcoming hotel reservation or AP Magic Band option.screen.
They appear to be. I had them selected for my wife and I but because you have to purchase them right away and they’re non-refundable, we couldn’t pull the trigger because we aren’t 100% sure we’ll make our November 2022 trip. When I checked the website again this morning, there was a message up on our profiles about “Your selected bands are sold out.” or something like that and even the grayed out picture of them has been removed.
I would love to order this !! We are staying at All Stars in November how can I order magic band??
I hope to be there in 2022 I am very concerned about restrictions on merchandise since when have guests been not able to buy what they want I am very concerned about the direction of WDW This new adminestration is not Disney friendly
