VIDEO: Disney World is Getting a 50th Anniversary Anthem!

We’re less than 50 days from the 50th Anniversary, and Walt Disney World is preparing for the big celebration!

We’re learning more details about all of the new features coming to the resort, including entertainment, decorations, special offerings, and more. This morning, Disney revealed the new anthem for the celebration, and we’re excited to share a sneak peek of the original song!

The song is titled “The Magic is Calling” and it was created by platinum-selling songwriter and music producer Alana Da Fonseca in partnership with composer Emily Bear and singing sensation Journi. Disney shared a small preview of the song in the video below:

We’ll begin to hear the anthem soon in a variety of ways as it comes to the parks. Different arrangements will play at each of the four parks as the icons transform at night into Beacons of Magic. (When Cinderella Castle. Spaceship Earth, the Tower of Terror, and the Tree of Life change into their “EARisdescent” looks.)

“The Magic is Calling” will also be featured in various entertainment around the resort, including in Mickey’s Celebration Cavalcade. It will be performed in different arrangements by the Main Street Philharmonic, the Dapper Dans, the Voices of Liberty, and the Discovery Island Drummers!
