As Disneyland Paris has only recently reopened, there have been a lot of major update to the parks and resort areas.

The new Marvel-inspired Hotel New York officially opened to guests, the parks have introduced a brand new paid FastPass system, and they have also started the sale of Annual Passes again. However, another major modification will begin in the parks later this month, as well!

Disneyland Paris has provided additional details on the recent changes to France’s health and safety measures. In order to comply with government mandates, the parks will now be requiring guests to bring “sanitary passes” in order to enter, starting on July 21st.

According to the French government’s website, this sanitary pass must include proof of one of the following three options:

• That you are fully vaccinated (with an EMA-approved vaccine)
• That you have been tested (PCR or antigen) with a negative COVID-19 result within the past 48 hours
• That you have recovered from COVID-19 with proof from a positive PCR or antigen test result from at least 15 days old, but no more than 6 months old

Disneyland Paris still remains open to guests, even with the potential sanitary pass requirement at this time.

Update: Recently, Disneyland Paris posted an update on their website regarding this sanitary pass similar to their statement shared above. It again discusses the sanitary pass and states that Disneyland Paris remains open and that they will adjust their operations to comply with the new measures.

Important Update: Disneyland Paris has since issued another update via its Instagram page about the Health Pass situation. It now notes that a Health Pass will be required starting on July 21st for some guests.

The Health Pass itself has to be presented in digital or paper form to verify one of three things — either that the guest is fully vaccinated, has had a negative test result for COVID-19 within the last 48 hours, or has had COVID-19 and other requirements have been met.

In terms of who needs a Health pass, starting on July 21st all adults ages 18 and older will need to show a Health Pass to get into Disneyland Paris. Guests ages 12 to 17 will need to begin showing a Health Pass as of August 30th.

If a guest needs to get a PCR test at Disneyland Paris there is a testing center available in Disney Village. This testing center operates every day from 8AM to 8PM.

Keep in mind that the French government has indicated that a negative PCR or Antigen test is valid for 48 hours. If your visit to Disneyland Paris will extend beyond 48 hours, then you may need to get 1 or more tests.
