We’re still blown away by all the new projects that Disney announced last year during its Investor Day presentation, including all the new Star Wars shows coming to Disney+.
Not only did we get a sneak preview of The Bad Batch, which recently premiered on the streaming subscription service, but we learned about some NEW Star Wars shows, including Star Wars: Visions.
Well, at Anime Expo Lite, Disney released more details about the new series! The show will highlight the work of seven Japanese anime studios — each of which will make a short film set in the Star Wars universe. Here’s the full list of the studios and the names of their shorts:
- Kamikaze Douga – The Duel
- Geno Studio (Twin Engine) – Lop and Ochō
- Studio Colorido (Twin Engine) – Tatooine Rhapsody
- Trigger – The Twins
- Trigger – The Elder
- Kinema Citrus – The Village Bride
- Science Saru – Akakiri
- Science Saru – T0-B1
- Production IG – The Ninth Jedi
Disney also released a first look video at Star Wars: Visions which features more details, along with some artwork from the shorts!
All episodes of Star Wars: Visions will premiere on Disney+ on September 22nd. So mark your calendars, Star Wars fans! And if we learn anything else about the series — or other Star Wars shows — we’ll let you know!
RARE ‘Star Wars’ Characters Are Featured on Disney’s Newest Shirt Collection!
