Disney+ launched in 2019, and it is FULL of new and old Disney content!
We’ve seen some incredible Disney+ series recently including WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Solider, and The Mandalorian. Disney announced in February of this year that a new Wakanda TV series would come to Disney+, and now we’ve got some more exciting news about it!
According to Collider, Danai Gurira, who is known for playing Okoye in Black Panther is set to reprise her role in the Wakanda series coming to Disney+!
The actress is also set to star in the first film’s sequel Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. There have not been many details released about the series, however Proximity Media, a multi-media company founded by Ryan Coogler, is creating it. There is still no official name for the series yet.
