After months of being closed, PeopleMover has officially reopened and has been taking guests on a slow-moving journey through Tomorrowland for almost a week now!

Much like other rides around Disney World, guests are being loaded into the ride vehicles a bit differently to ensure physical distancing between parties while on the ride. And, today we noticed that Disney had already made a change to the ride’s loading process.
When Disney first opened PeopleMover on Sunday, they were loading two groups into ride vehicles and spacing them out with at least two cars between parties. But, when we passed through Tomorrowland today, we noticed a few more people sitting in the ride vehicles.

Now Disney is loading up to three groups into the ride vehicle as long as there are less than six people per party and spacing groups out with one car in between. For groups of more than six people, Cast Members will load the large party into a few cars in the vehicle and then load one more party with an empty car in between the groups.

We will continue to keep an eye out for any other changes to Disney World’s ride process, so stay tuned to AllEars for the latest!

I miss the People Mover (called WED Way People Mover previous). My family has always enjoyed this ride over the years. We never skip it when it is running. Can’t wait to ride again.
