Disney World is an expensive place, and it can be hard to find the best ways to cut costs.

One of the biggest expenses when headed to The Most Magical Place on Earth is accommodations — especially if you need a big room like a suite. But did you know you can stay in a Disney World suite without spending a ton of cash? Here’s how!
How to stay in a Disney suite without busting the bank!
Renting Disney Vacation Club Points
A great tip for staying at Disney World suites for cheap is to rent Disney Vacation Club points! The Disney Vacation Club (DVC) is Disney’s vacation ownership program that allows members to own a spot in Disney vacation locations.

Now, you can actually stay in a DVC room without being a DVC member. You can book available rooms through DisneyWorld.com, but this is typically not very cost-effective. These rooms include many suite options, and there is a way to get DVC prices (much cheaper!) without being a DVC member.

When DVC owners can not use their timeshares, they can choose to rent their points out. Non-members can then rent these points to get a lower rate on DVC rooms, villas, and suites.

One way to rent these points is through a service such as David’s DVC Rentals. David’s works with DVC owners who are looking to rent out points so that non-members can take advantage of the deals!
Cost Comparison
Renting points can net you a huge price cut on some very nice Disney rooms. To offer a comparison, we’re taking a look at costs to stay in various Disney World suites for four nights in early May.

With DVC rentals, a one-bedroom suite for this period at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge Villas costs $399 per night versus the standard $826 per night. That’s over half off the price!

Over at Disney’s BoardWalk Villas, those renting from David’s can stay for $456 per night versus the usual $898 per night. Again, that’s a price cut of about 50%.

For our final example, we’ll talk about a two-bedroom suite at Disney’s Old Key West Resort. With DVC point rental, you can stay for $456 a night versus the usual $914 per night fee. Woo!

As you can see, using DVC rentals can mean you’ll find yourself staying in a big Disney hotel room without as big of an investment.
How to Rent DVC Points
As we mentioned, you can rent DVC points through a service such as David’s DVC Rentals. There are a wide variety of DVC locations where you can use rented points, and you can book a reservation at a DVC Resort up to 11 months in advance.

If you’re interested in this option for your trip, head on over to David’s DVC Rentals to take a look at pricing and availability for your dates!

I’m paying $500 less for a 1 bedroom at BWV for the 9 nights with my 35% passholder discount than what was quoted through David’s! The cost is definitely less only if you compare it to the standard rack rate.
That would be so cool to stay at a suite at a Disney Hotel!!!!! Sorry about your loss to Alan in the Ultimate race Quincy. That really sucked. I think I was more bummed than you were!!!!! I really wanted to see a Molly vs Quincy final!!!!!! My dreams were completely dashed!!!!
