The Best Places for a Fast Breakfast at Walt Disney World

When you’re at Disney World, you certainly don’t want to miss the most important meal of the day: breakfast!

Magic Kingdom in the morning

Character breakfasts or sit-down meals are nice and all, but if you plan to go, go, go for a full day at the park, you need something quick. Not to worry, there are still a lot of great options to fuel you for the day!

The Best Places for a Fast Breakfast in Disney World

Quick Service Restaurants in Hotels

Every Disney hotel has at least one Quick Service restaurant. They tend to open early and stay open pretty late so you can get all three meals of the day at these locations. And they’re literally built to be a quick option for guests!

Contempo Cafe

Oh, and did we mention they’re THE place to get the coveted Mickey waffle? There’s just something about a waffle in the shape of Mickey — maybe it’s all the extra syrup it can hold! You’ll also find a very wide variety of breakfast options at these locations, so it can be one of the best places to go to please every palette.

Everything POP Food Court

These food courts can get pretty packed in the mid-morning as everyone gets some food for the day, so if you’re looking for a truly fast experience, wake up early to avoid the morning rush.

Les Halles

Want to have breakfast the French way? Grab a croissant or beignet from Les Halles in the France Pavilion in EPCOT. Or if you’re looking for something more substantial, indulge in a nice Quiche Lorraine or a Croissant Salé (egg, cheese, and bacon croissant).

Starbucks

No matter which park you’re headed to in Walt Disney World, there is a location serving up Starbucks coffee and snacks! And if you’re like us and coffee is the #1 breakfast item needed for a good day, then stopping at the Starbucks as you head into the park is a great, quick option!

Starbucks in Disney’s Hollywood Studios

The Starbucks locations serve all of the coffee that you’d find at the one around the corner from your house plus a few more at the Disney Springs location! You’ll also find the traditional selection of breakfast items that Starbucks is known for (breakfast sandwiches, croissants, and all!).

You’ll find the typical Starbucks food selection

It’s definitely not a Disney exclusive breakfast like Mickey Waffles, but it is a quick breakfast that you can grab and eat on your way to your first ride for the day. You’ll already be in the parks!

Sunshine Seasons in EPCOT

Now, there are also a variety of Quick Service locations in the Disney parks that serve up a breakfast selection, and they’re not as well known (which makes for shorter lines). If you’re in EPCOT, you can head over to The Land and stop into Sunshine Seasons for breakfast.

Sunshine Seasons

They’ve got a pretty wide breakfast selection that includes Ciabatta French Toast, a Breakfast Platter, Breakfast Panini, and more. You probably won’t face too many crowds, either, because most people going to The Land in the morning have their hearts set on getting to Soarin’ Around the World making the wait short for breakfast!

Gaston’s Tavern in Magic Kingdom

Over in Magic Kingdom, you can start your day off in New Fantasyland and grab one of our favorite breakfast items at Disney World (though we’ll eat this at any hour of the day) — Warm Cinnamon Rolls from Gaston’s Tavern!

Gaston’s Tavern

These GIANT cinnamon buns that are loaded with icing are pretty popular (understandably so!) so the line can be a bit longer depending on when you arrive in the morning. But this breakfast spot is at the back of the park so fewer people make it there all that early in the morning.

THE Cinnamon Roll

The Warm Cinnamon Rolls are the only breakfast item on the menu here so your whole party needs to be committed to having one for breakfast if you’re hoping to make breakfast quick.

Woody’s Lunch Box in Hollywood Studios

If you’ll be visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios for the day, you can head over to Toy Story Land and grab a quick breakfast from Woody’s Lunch Box!

Woody’s Lunch Box

The location serves up two breakfast bowls that feature some delicious potato barrels (made famous by Totchos) and are only available in the morning. The breakfast bowl is a Hearty portion of Potato Barrels smothered in Smoked Brisket Country Gravy, Scrambled Eggs, and a sprinkling of Green Onions. Plus the kiddo version of the bowl is served with even MORE Potato Barrels and Mandarin oranges on the side!

Yak & Yeti Local Foods Cafe in Animal Kingdom

Disney’s Animal Kingdom also has a quick breakfast option to kick start your day in the park. Yak & Yeti Local Foods Cafe is located in Asia right next to the Yak & Yeti Restaurant. In the morning, the quick-service location serves up breakfast sandwiches (with a side of hash browns, of course) and other quick breakfast bites.

Yak & Yeti Local Foods Cafe

If you found a long line at Starbucks, this is another quick breakfast option so you can spend less time snacking and more time exploring!

There you have it! Whether you’re planning to grab a quick meal before you leave the hotel or when you first get into the parks, there are quite a few options that serve up delicious, fast breakfast!

  1. The pretzel sandwich is a game changer when Gaston’s has it for breakfast time! Cinnamon roll gets the love, but our family loves the pretzel, ham, and cheese for a more savory option!
