This show joins several others that won’t be moving forward, including FBI: Most Wanted, FBI: International, and Poppa’s House. The show managed to get a complete 5-season run at the network! Queen Latifah produced the show as well as starring in it, and reacted to the cancellation online.

She shared that the show was “everything I hoped it would be” and that the show “blew past every dream we had for it.” She teased new projects soon after the cancellation news. The show was previously considered for a shorter 6th season before the final decision was made. This show wasn’t connected to the movie of the same name, however, both were inspired by a 1980s series of the same name, also on CBS.
