It’s a busy day for Walt Disney Imagineering.

Behind the scenes, Imagineers are hard at work on a number of projects. How do we know? They keep filing building permits! We’ve already spotted one for the Jungle Cruise today and now there are two more!
The first of the permits that we spotted was for work to remove, refurbish, and replace the sign on Peter Pan’s Flight. Looks like those fluffy white clouds are going to be looking good as new soon.

This permit was filed with a contractor that specializes in sign work. We’ve seen them used for a few other sign refurbishments in the past.

A similar permit was filed for Dumbo the Flying Elephant, but this attraction will be getting an entirely new marquee to replace the current one — although it might look exactly the same.

This permit is filed with the same signage contractor but it calls for the removal of the whole marquee structure and the reinstallation of a new one.

These updates could be in preparation for Disney World’s 50th Anniversary. The celebrations are a pretty big deal and Disney might be working to make sure Magic Kingdom looks as good as it can!

We’ll keep an eye out for signs of both of these projects so keep an eye on AllEars for updates!

We have our tickets and park reservations for the 50th. We couldn’t get MK but EPCOT is our favorite park so that’s where we’ll be on the 50th
I hope they look even better when the new signs are put up. The 50th anniversary is going to be totally freaking awesome!!!!!!!
