Ever since Disney Springs reopened last May, Walt Disney World has been operating with new health and safety measures.
One of the biggest changes is the mask mandate for the property. All guests are required to wear an approved facial covering in the parks and Disney Springs (which can only be removed in a Relaxation Station or when actively eating/drinking). If you’re traveling to Disney World soon, you may wonder which masks are approved — well now, Disney Springs has new signage to tell you!
We spotted these new signs in the parking garage area as you head towards the temperature checks. Here, a large sign details which types of face coverings are currently not allowed.
Next to the big version of the sign, there’s another one we’ve seen before, detailing the mask rules for guests. Sitting on top of the easel is a smaller version of the big banner.
We spotted even more of these little signs spread throughout the garage. This time, Minnie Mouse herself was reminding guests which masks are not accepted.
There are quite a few health and safety informational plaques around, and the rules are very well outlined before you even leave the parking garage.
Once you’re inside Disney Springs, there are signs spread throughout the shopping and dining complex as well to remind guests of the rules. Cast Members throughout the area continue to enforce these policies.
These new informational signs will hopefully help cut back on the number of guests showing up with face coverings that aren’t approved. We’ll make sure to let you know of any more mask policy changes and health and safety measures that we spot at Walt Disney World.
